I purchased this beanie in 2004, putting it squarely in the Vintage category. I used to live in Vermont, so I had a dozen beanies, especially nicely fitted ones like this that do double duty fitting under a snowboarding helmet.
These days I live in California and don't need as many hats in rotation, so I'm seeing if this one can find a better home. The North Face was well-known at the time for its product durability, and this beanie has a lot of life left in it. It's been well cared for throughout its tenure, plus I soaked it in OxyClean and freshly laundered it before listing.
Trust me when I say it kept me warm for many years, and it'll keep you warm too.
