The JOHNNY WAS Sheer Experience

Known for breezy, free-spirited boho styles, the Johnny Was brand has become synonymous with apparel that feels just as amazing as it looks. 

This gray semi-sheer gauze tunic is made from 100% Cupra Rayon, a semi-synthetic material created from recycled cotton. The material has some stretch and is prized for its extremely fine fibers, making it an excellent material for high-end sundresses, blouses, light scarves, lingerie, and other lightweight apparel. Johnny Was has added its signature embroidery style, pleating, and tied neckline detailing to make this piece truly unique and gorgeous.

With only tiny flaws and priced accordingly, this tunic is a terrific find. The flaws will go unnoticed when you're surrounded by such designer luxe comfort.

Due to the copper treatment of Cupra Rayon, when the item gets wet, you may notice a pink sheen. This is removable by soaking or wetting with potable, filtered, or distilled water.

The delicate fabric is prone to pinholes, and we have provided images of all pinholes identified in the inspection that do not appear to be part of the design. THERE MAY BE OTHER PINHOLES. 

  • No tears, rips, or large stains
  • Two pinholes on front just L of center between the diamond and circular embroidery
  • Two brown spots on front first pleat just L of center
  • Brown spot on front just R of central diamond embroidery and gray dot just below that under first pleat
  • Two pinholes near bottom R (close to seam)
  • Tiny pinhole near the cuff of R sleeve
